 Roelof and Judy Nieuwenhuis have owned their business on Main Street since 1982. Roelof, born and raised in Amsterdam, Holland is responsible for the furniture restoration, as well as helping Judy, a native Texan, generate sales in the store. Their restoration includes stripping, gluing, repairing, caning, upholstering and fabrics. Roelof does quality work and loves making his customers happy. Both Roelof and Judy travel to Holland in search of wonderful antiques and gift items to ship back, keeping their store full and interesting. Gifts include colorful tiles and trays with Dutch scenes, blue and white delft Christmas ornaments, houses, tiles, ginger jars, vases, decorative cotton kitchen towels in a variety of colors and patterns and lace screens in a wood frame that sit in the window. Antiques include beautiful large carved cabinets, tables, chairs, mirrors, lamps, religious items, paintings, old wooden ice skate, and much more. In addition to the wide range of American antiques and large assortment of wonderful smelling Yankee candles. You will find their shop clean and friendly, filled with furniture and items of exceptional quality.
